The organization for Research and Extension of Intermediate Technology (OREINT) is a local NGO founded in 1985 and is registered with the Ministry of Development and Economic Planning.

The main thrust of the organization is development and environment. OREINT provides technical assistance to worthwhile community initiatives geared towards sustainable development through participatory project design implementation, monitoring and evaluation at the grassroots level.

OREINT’s mission is to empower communities/people in order to develop their potentials for poverty eradication and economic liberation.
